The Dunfermline New City Assembly will meet on three weekends in January and February 2026. They will talk about the changes in our city and how these changes can make life better for everyone.
The assembly will be made up of 35 everyday people, chosen by lottery so it’s fair and represents the whole community. They will listen, learn, and share ideas to create suggestions for how the city can grow in a way that works for all.
To help these talks, we need paid helpers called facilitators. They don’t share their own opinions but use good listening and people skills to make sure the conversations are fair and respectful. We hope people from Fife will apply to be trained for this important role.
